This is one of the coolest productions I’ve seen in a while. It’s a “visualization” of what air traffic over Europe from April 16, 2010, when flights were banned over northern Europe because of the ash cloud emanating from Iceland’s volcano, Eyjafjallajökull, until April 21st when restrictions were lifted. It was created using real flight data and assembled by a group called openstreetmap.org. Click here to learn more.
